Unlock Blackberry 9860The Blackberry Torch 9860 was released in September 2011. It’s a solidly built handset with a nice design and large 3.7″ touch screen.  Although there is no physical keyboard on this model, the touch screen keyboard is very responsive and puts to rest the problems seen in older Blackberry touchscreen models like the Storm. The phone can operate on 2G networks (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) and 3G networks (HSDPA 900 / 1700 / 2100 or HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 / 800).

Some key features on this phone include a 1.2 GHz processor,  2.5 GB storage (with a microSD card slot that can support up to 32 GB of additional storage), and 768 mb of RAM. It measures 120 x 62 x 11.5 mm, weighs 135 grams, has a 3.7 inch (~252 ppi pixel density) TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors, 5 MP autofocus digital camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1, microUSB v2.0, GPS, and operates on BlackBerry 7 OS.

Listed below are the instructions you will need to unlock your Blackberry Torch 9860:

1. Insert a non accepted simcard (a simcard that isn’t from the original carrier). Power on phone. 

2) After the phone boots up, it will show the message “Your current sim card requires an unlock code. Would you like to unlock it?”. Press on “Yes”.

3) Enter the unlock code. If you don’t have an unlock code for your phone, you can get one on our unlock Blackberry webpage.

4) The phone should say “Code accepted”. Your Blackberry is now unlocked.

Here are alternate unlocking instructions if the method above gives you trouble.

1) Input a non accepted simcard in the phone (any simcard that is not from the original phone carrier). Power on phone.

2) Go to Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > Simcard

3) Type MEPD

4) A Personalization screen will show up, which will show “Sim”, “Network”, “Network Subset”, “Service Provider”, “Corporate”. On that same screen, hold the ALT button and press the buttons MEP2 (as you type, you wont see anything appear on the screen, but just go ahead and type it anyway).

5) Phone will say “Enter Network MEP Code”

6) Enter the unlock code.

7) The phone should say “Code accepted”. Your Blackberry is now unlocked.

Listed below are the instructions you will need to unlock your LG Thrill 4G:

1. Insert a non-accepted simcard into your phone (a simcard that isn’t from the original carrier).  

2. Power on phone. 

3. Phone will indicate “phone is sim network locked”. Slide your finger upwards on the screen to get to the unlock screen.

4. Phone will display “Sim network unlock PIN. Unlock attempt 1 of 10″. This means you have 10 attempts to enter in a correct unlock code.  

5. Type in your unlock code. If you don’t have an unlock code for your phone, you can get one on our unlock LG webpage.

6. Your phone is now unlocked.
