The HTC Freestyle was launched in January 2011. It includes a 528 MHz processor, Qualcomm MSM7225 chipset, 150 MB of built in storage space (plus an external microSD card slot that can be expanded up to 32 Gb), 256 MB RAM, 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display with 256K colors, 3.15 Mega pixel autofocus camera, video, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.0, Gps, up to 388 hours standby and up to 6 hours 40 minutes talk time.
Unlocking your phone will allow you to use it on ANY GSM carrier worldwide, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, Fido, Koodo, Vodafone, Tim, Claro, and many more. Shortly after you order, the unlock code with instructions will be emailed to you.
Listed below are the instructions you will need to unlock your HTC Freestyle:
1. Insert a non-accepted simcard (a simcard that isn’t from the original carrier). Power on phone.
2. Phone will ask for a “Sim network unlock pin”. Type in your unlock code. If you don’t have an unlock code for your phone, you can get one on our HTC unlock code webpage. After entering in the code, you might be asked to enter it in a second time.
3. Your HTC Freestyle is now unlocked.
