The HTC Radar 4G was released in September 2011. It includes a 1 GHz Scorpion cpu, Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset, Adreno 205 GPU, 8GB of integrated storage space, 512 MB RAM, 3.8 inch S-LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors, 5 Megapixel auto-focus LED flash camera, secondary camera, 720p@30fps video, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1, Gps, and runs on the Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Operating system.
Unlocking your phone will allow you to use it on ANY GSM carrier worldwide, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Rogers, Fido, Koodo, Vodafone, Tim, Claro, and many more. Shortly after you order, the unlock code with instructions will be emailed to you.
Listed below are the instructions you will need to unlock your HTC Radar 4G:
1. Insert a non-accepted simcard (a simcard that isn’t from the original carrier). Power on phone.
2. After the phone finishes booting up, it will display the message “this sim card can only be used on specific networks. Contact Your customer service center for the unlock code’.
3. Below that will be the message “Enter PIN”. On the keypad, type in your unlock code and press the “enter” button. If you don’t have an unlock code for your phone, you can get one on our HTC unlock code webpage.
4. The phone will reboot, and should automatically pick up your new network within a few seconds. Your phone is now unlocked.
