The T-Mobile myTouch 4G (also known as the T-Mobile myTouch HD) was released in November 2010. It’s manufactured by HTC and was the second 4G phone to be launched on the T-mobile network. Some key features on this phone include a 1GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon, 4 GB storage (with a microSD card slot that can support up to 32 GB of additional storage), and 768 MB of RAM. It measures 121.9 x 55.9 x 10.9 mm, weighs 141.8 grams, has a 3.8 inch (~246 ppi pixel density) TFT capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors, 5 MP autofocus digital camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1, GPS, and operates on the Android v2.2 Froyo OS.
Listed below are the instructions you will need to unlock your T-Mobile myTouch 4G:
1. Insert a non-accepted simcard (a simcard that isn’t from the original carrier). Power on phone.
2. Phone will display “network locked”. Slide down to go to the next screen.
3. Phone will ask for a “Sim network unlock pin”. Type in your unlock code and press “OK”. If you don’t have an unlock code for your phone, you can get one on our unlock HTC webpage.
4. Phone will display “Sim Network Unlock PIN – successfully unlocked from the network. Rebooting…”. This means your code has been accepted, and the phone must reboot to complete the process. Once the phone reboots, it will then automatically pick up your new network within a few seconds.
